<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a>I loved their beers and malt!<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n They also had a free museum upstairs which included the history of James Boag beer, photographs, beer cans and cool equipment like this:<\/p>\n This instrument is called Meteorphonium. It was designed by Nick Ryan for James Boag. It transforms meteorological and environmental readings into a musical symphony<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n We then went to Seaport to\u00a0have early dinner. Their seafood were fresh and delicious. We had this beautiful view all to ourselves\u2014 Just had to pose for this view! My brother is seriously the best photographer<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n This is the place where we had fish and chips. I forgot the name of the shop<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n This trip wouldn’t have been complete without a visit to the nature parks they have. We were taken away by this beautiful reserve, Cataract Gorge. It was around a 20-minute drive from the Launceston city centre.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The amazing Alexandra suspension bridge from the chairlift<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n How cool is that! There’s even a pool area in the middle of the forest<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n Serene and<\/em> breath taking<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n I have a fear of heights. It took me a couple of minutes before I was able to cross the bridge<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n I wasn’t scared at all when we were at the chairlift. <\/em>Apparently it’s the world’s longest chairlift span<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n From the river views, suspension bridges, flocking peackocks and array of walks, truly Cataract gorge-ous!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Spent the first day of summer at Launceston, Tasmania\u2014a quick getaway for mum’s birthday.
